At Exploriment (“we”, “us” or “our”) your privacy is one of our top priorities. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This privacy policy may change at any time. In an event of significant changes to our privacy policy we try to notify you 14 days prior to when the new privacy policy will take effect. However, we are not obliged to do so. You should check back frequently to ensure you are familiar with the current version.

    Only an App can initiate an order for you. The App is linked to the order, the App will have access to the necessary data to fulfill the order, this includes: billing- and shipping address, order items and payment status.

    An App is a product, service, online store or physical store using Exploriment’s services.

    This may include: gender, business name, VAT number, full name, address, ZIP code, city, state and country.

    We solely use this to process your orders, such as determining the appropriate VAT rate, and for our billing records. Billing information is also stored on your account, so you can reuse them in the future, without entering the same data again.

§ 3. How we protect your information.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all information you provide to us is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) technology.

We implement a variety of security measures when a you place an order, submit, or access information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

All transactions are processed through a payment service provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

While we do everything we can to keep your information confidential at all times, during the collection of information, processing of information and transfer of information, we cannot guarantee that our systems can prevent all potential security breaches.

The information we have collected about you is always stored and processed on servers within the European Economic Area (“EEA”). The vast majority of information is stored in Germany and the Netherlands.

We keep your information confidential at all times. In some cases we may share your personal information with third-parties or internally. However, this is on the basis that they do not make independent use of the information, and have agreed to keep the information confidential.

    We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group (which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries), our personnel, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy.

  • Product, service, online store or physical store using Exploriment’s services (“App”)
    We may disclose your personal information to Apps using our services. This information includes, but is not limited to billing- and shipping information and status of payment. If the App is not owned by us, it can only access any of your data with your explicit consent. Additionally, an App can only access your personal information that is relevant to the App itself. For example, the App can only see the orders initiated by the App and not orders by other Apps.

  • Service providers
    We may provide your personal information to our business partners, suppliers and subcontractors who provide services to us or where necessary to perform a service that you have requested.

  • Sale of any business or assets
    If we buy or sell any business or assets, we may disclose your personal information to the seller or buyer respectively of that business or those assets. If Exploriment (or substantially all of its assets) is acquired, personal information held by it about its users will be one of the transferred assets.

  • Professional consult
    We may disclose your personal information to obtain professional advice (for example, from lawyers or financial advisors).

  • Legal obligation
    We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in response to a request from law enforcement or another regulatory authority. We may disclose your personal information to enforce our agreements with you or to protect the rights, property or safety of Exploriment, its users or others. This includes sharing personal information with other organizations for fraud prevention purposes.
